There is currently No Undo Support in Times+! The Undo command is there simply for use by DA's under Mac OS 6. Please remember this! You can always "undo" an action by reverting to a previously saved version of the open file. Save often, as this is your only recourse should you perform an action you wish to undo!
This section is for users who just want to jump in using Balloon Help. It simply list some pieces of information which will make using Times+ easier. If you’re going to read the whole manual, you may skip it.
You must create an Event before you can time it.
You may repeatedly start/resume and stop/pause the timing for an Event. It will continue from the place it was paused at, adding to the total time. Of course, Reset resets the Event to 0 by clearing the Time Record.
Any number of Events may be timed simultaneously. If the Event List which they are in is saved to disk, they will continue to “time” even when the application is closed and the computer is off. You may even take the file to another computer and view/edit it. As long as the clocks are in sync, accuracy will be preserved.
Timing is based on the Mac’s internal clock, so any changes in it will cause inaccuracy in running Events. There is a command to compensate for Daylight Savings changes. Were you to start your Mac and see that the time was off, simply reset your clock using the Alarm DA or the General Control Panel. As long as you have not started or stopped any Events, accuracy will be preserved.
For Time Record viewing and Export, you must first select the Events which you want to view/export in the Event List. Otherwise, nothing will be exported. To view/export all Events, select the Event List (a black border will appear around it) and select “Select All” (command-A) under the Edit menu.
Many commands, such as Start, Stop, and Reset, may be applied to more than one Event. Simply select all of the Events which you want to apply the command to. Also, the Start/Stop/Reset commands in the Control menu apply to the front window. If it’s the Main window, they apply to the selected Events in the Event List. If it’s a MiniView, they apply to the Event of the MiniView.
